Ghana State Book Project

Ghana State Book Project is undertaking in collaboration with National Commission on Culture, Ghana Tourism Authority, Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, National House of Chiefs, Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, Bureau of Ghana Languages, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other institutions to document oral histories in all the traditional states in Ghana. The project seek to produce comprehensive reference books that contains histories about all the traditional states. These books will help prevent from loosing our oral histories and will set as a platform for resolving chieftaincy conflicts. Other histories ignored for a very longtime would be captured and protected for posterity. These books when produced would be made available to the various royal famailies and appropriate institutions including public libraries.
