Automotive services from engine, transmission, body and electrical work.
(1) I will like to become an automotive electrical engineering technician, I have a solid foundation with electrical engineering, I have been working and studying in this field for about eight years now. I love this area of engineering.
(2) They are a lot of local opportunities here in Ghana, I have applied to a couple of companies, searching for an automotive engineering technician.
(3) As a service technician, if a customer comes in stating they have a low brake pedal, I will follow the diagnostic procedure, and verify the customer's concern by testing the vehicle. Afterwards I will visually inspect the associated components like master cylinder, master cylinder push rod, brake pedal, brake fluid lines, drum and disc to see if all is in good conditions. Knowing fluid at master cylinder is full and not contaminated, I will check push rod adjustment and brake lines, if everything looks good then the drum brakes may be maladjusted or worn, check adjustment for disc also. After the the root cause is identified and fixed, I will test the vehicle to be sure all is good, and then handover the vehicle to the customer.
