GHANA CLEFT FOUNDATION

The Ghana Cleft Foundation was registered in 2007 as a not-for profit organization. The stated aims of the Foundation are:

1. Create awareness of cleft lip and palate throughout Ghana

2. Mobilize funds to support the provision of free surgery and full rehabilitation for needy cleft patients in Ghana

3. Support educational and research efforts on cleft lip and palate in Ghana

4. Support capacity building among cleft care practitioners and promote the scaling up of services throughout Ghana.

5. Collaborate with local and international stakeholders in advancing cleft care in Ghana.

6. Provide assurance and hope for patients with cleft lip and palate.

7. Undertake, offer or do anything that the FOUNDATION thinks right to do for patients with clefts and their families.
