Opportunities Industrialization Centre, Kumasi

Opportunities Industrialization Centre, Ghana (OIC), is a not-for-profit Technical/Vocational Institution established in the year 1971. OIC has since its inception provided employable skills to over 50,000 youth. The Institute provides innovative skills training in trades such as Catering & Hospitality, Fashion Design, Hairdressing, Electricals, Electronics, Plumbing, Masonry, Welding & Fabrication, Auto Mechanic, Office Management Skills, Stenography, Information Technology(I.T), Graphic Design among others. Admission is open to JHS and SHS graduates throughout the year. The course duration is 2 years, and trainees after completion are certified by NVTI and NABPTEX enabling them progress into the polytechnics and other forms of higher learning. OIC is duly accredited by the Energy Commission and the Commission for TVET.
