The school is a Government assisted school funding in 1987. It is located on leveled ground 30 meters from the foot of the highest peak in Ghana called Mt. Afadja in the Volta Region. It is the only school serving the Gbledi, Fodome, Wli, and Liati Traditional areas.
The school's mission is to seek to equip young men and women with sound and relevant training as well as pre-tertiary education.
Their vision is to be the center to provide quality academic and moral upbringing for boys and girls, producing a crop of youth with integrity, intelligence, and physical health, that would enable them to develop their potential in relevant skills and professions
